Learning a new trick - Neck Spin. Me: Um...Brad, I um, feel like I'm going to pass out. Brad: Oh, that's okay. That always happens with a neck spin. You're doing it right! Me: Oh. Okay! (Gotta love circus!)

Another new trick - Sleeping Beauty. I think I've got the Sleeping part but need to stay tighter and horizontal to make the Beauty.

Flying Lead in Formation with a Pitts on my Left Wing - Oct 8, 2009

Flying my little SkyHawk over the Valley, met up with Instructor Liz's aerobatic pilot/instructor friend, Cyrus. I got to fly Lead in our formation. Basic flight maneuvers but OH, SO COOL!!!

Here I spot him as he flies up behind me and settles into position.









Pitts is getting low on fuel, he shifts over to my right wing and we get some really cool air-to-air shots with the Sun behind us...




Pitts does a roll so we can see his checker board under belly then flies off in the horizon. And I get back to practicing my steep turns and slow flight!

Somewhere up in Heaven, my Grandpa is saying "You'll never believe what that KID is up to now!"

WOW! Sep 13, 2009: A Fantastic Day in the Yard...

Off the Bar for two Sunday's in a row but after a few warm up swings...I felt right back at Home.

Nailed BOTH my split catches (to Alex & to Terry) and even made it back to Ruth & Nuri on the Board each time. Thanks to Richie for his great coaching and to Leeenda for filming my second split catch roundtrip and celebratory layout dismount.
