After nearly 3 weeks away - hiding under the oven - Ira's best friend Greenie comes back to play. Although the way Ira chews him out, one wonders if Greenie's absence wasn't a well deserved break??!!

Flying Lead in Formation with a Pitts on my Left Wing - Oct 8, 2009
Flying my little SkyHawk over the Valley, met up with Instructor Liz's aerobatic pilot/instructor friend, Cyrus. I got to fly Lead in our formation. Basic flight maneuvers but OH, SO COOL!!!
On the air-to-air comms with the Pitts.
Here I spot him as he flies up behind me and settles into position.
Pitts is getting low on fuel, he shifts over to my right wing and we get some really cool air-to-air shots with the Sun behind us...
Pitts does a roll so we can see his checker board under belly then flies off in the horizon. And I get back to practicing my steep turns and slow flight!
Somewhere up in Heaven, my Grandpa is saying "You'll never believe what that KID is up to now!"
